Taking on the road!

We've been pedaling hard and taking on the road! We've seen a lot of interesting things along our way too:

Wild Turkey!! We saw 11 of them, including a tall one with lime green markings.

These two didn't seem quite so "wild" - we got quite close to them!

We see lots of "wild" life on the road!

Sometimes having the rain come pounding down is not so bad - especially after a 30 degree day!

We always follow the posted road rules. So break time it is!

Here is a sad story: Four flats in four days!!

It is almost enough to make you RETIRE! (haha!)

So I did!

Bought 2 brand new Gatorskin tires - guaranteed not to go flat.

Here's hoping!

We are making good progress on our journey, and meeting with lots of amazing people on the way. Even flat tires are worth the experience! And the cause!
