Friendly Manitoba!

The small town of Portage La Prairie has a HUGE biking interest, thanks largely to John, who spearheaded The Junk Yard Dogs Cycling Group, resulting in may Provincial and National titles.
John was born in a bike shop in England 74 years ago, and has been actively cycling for over 60 years, and still competes!
Robert made a donation on the spot and plans to share the Chain Reaction Ride and Canadian Humanitarian with the extensive local biking crowd.

Also! There is a very cool bike shop in town called TWO TIRED BOYS. It's run by Dale, who is also championing the cause for us.
I love the name of the shop! It sounds just like us! Except in our case it's 1 BOY and 1 GIRL who are tired!

Riding in Manitoba. Didn't realize there was a change in the time zone, but maybe the darkness should have given it away!!

In Brandon, we had to do a complete rebuild of the hitch for the bike rack. Took it to Brett Knapp at Glendale Industries.
Not only did he fit us in that day, but he also donated labor, plus other donations! What a charitable guy. Thanks Brett!!
