Ken's Corner: Northern Ontario

We are in Northern Ontario - and very nearly to Sault Ste Marie!

Norther Ontario is a very big place, and makes those western provinces seem wimpy - especially when pedaling a bike.

It is 1280 km across, has a provincial park every 54 km, and is loaded with lakes and wild animals.

There are many much Moosen - we have taken a picture of a few of them we have come across.

Surprisingly, they were tame enough not to move when their photo was taken.

There are even more black flies than moose - the good news is they only bite once. But enough of them can eat you one bite at a time...

Despite the flies, we are making our way across Northern Ontario!
