We participated in a soccer tournament with the children, and a gala afternoon.
Soccer (or Football) is an extremely popular sport in Ethiopia.
Note the crooked sidelines of the soccer field!
The soccer jerseys worn by the children were a donation from a group in Okotoks - those soccer jerseys have lasted through a lot of games here in Ethiopia! The kids love them.
Some of the children painted the colours of the Ethiopian flag on their faces in honor of the tournament. It was quite a celebration!
