The children in Canadian Humanitarian's Education Centers work very hard to do well at school. To encourage them, awards are given to students who earn high grades in their classes, and a celebration is thrown for everyone!
A celebration meal was prepared, with lamb and goat as special dishes.
Gift packages for each child, made up of donations from generous people in Canada and the US were presented by the expedition team as part of the ceremony.
The children were very vocal in expressing their thanks for the gifts and awards.
A doll given by a 3 year old from Red Deer was warmly accepted.
